Apple iPhone 15 Plus

Apple iPhone 15 Plus Review

The Apple iPhone 15 Plus is the second generation of the Plus model, which offers a larger screen and longer battery life than the standard iPhone 15. It also shares many of the same features and improvements as the iPhone 15, such as the Dynamic Island, the USB-C port, the A16 Bionic chip, and the 48MP main camera. The Apple iPhone 15 Plus is priced at $899 for the 128GB version, which is $100 more than the iPhone 15 and $100 less than the iPhone 15 Pro. It is available in five colors: black, blue, green, pink, and yellow.

The Apple iPhone 15 Plus is a great choice for anyone who wants a big-screen iPhone with excellent battery life and performance, without paying the premium price of the Pro models. It also offers a very good camera system, with a surprising 2x telephoto zoom capability that is achieved through software and hardware optimization. However, the Apple iPhone 15 Plus is not perfect, and it has some drawbacks that may deter some potential buyers. For example, it does not have an always-on display, a telephoto camera, or a fast recharge speed. It also has a dated-looking 60Hz display that may not appeal to some users who are used to higher refresh rates.

In this review, we will examine the design, display, camera, hardware, software, performance, and battery of the iPhone 15 Plus, and compare it with some of its competitors and predecessors. We will also highlight the pros and cons of the device, and give our verdict on whether it is worth buying or not.

Apple iPhone XS Max

Apple iPhone XS Max Review

After a summer of fairly accurate rumors, Apple launched three new iPhones, Apple iPhone XS Max, Apple iPhone XS and Apple iPhone XR. One criticism we hear often about Apple iPhone X is that its 5.8-inch screen simply isn't big enough. Last year, big-screen lovers had to opt for less fully-featured Apple iPhone 8 Plus to get most of screen real estate. Well, not anymore as Apple's iPhone XS Max offers the biggest screen available in an iPhone to date, along with many of top-shelf features like Face ID. It's a perfect option for people who want to upgrade from older Plus models as it features an all new display, a much powerful processor and improved camera setup. Only concern remains, it comes with a pretty hefty price tag, way over 1000-dollar price point. For some users, however, price won't be a major concern, as Apple has one of the most loyal fan following. So, let's dive deep into Apple's latest plus sized flagship and find out whether it is worth the hype or you're just better off with smaller Apple iPhone XS.

Vivo V11 (V11 Pro)

Vivo V11 (V11 Pro) Review

In 2018, smartphone manufacturers have gone overboard with technological and design enhancements. Never before did we see so many smartphones coming out with absolutely amazing tech, something we only thought of as futuristic a couple of years back. One of those manufacturers is Vivo and it has been making waves recently by adopting futuristic technologies ahead of anyone else. It's leading the bezel-free display movement and was first to put an under-glass fingerprint scanner in a mobile device. Now, just six months after launch of Apple iPhone X-like Vivo V9, Vivo V11 Pro and Vivo V11 are here, complete with an in-display fingerprint scanner and tiny teardrop notch. This is second phone, after Oppo F9, to feature a tiny water drop notched display, and quite frankly, it is exactly what people have been wishing for. Among its wonderful features, including, an in-display fingerprint scanner, glass back with gradient finish, a full screen display with waterdrop notch and a battery with fast charging, this just might be a phone to beat Oppo F9. Amidst such a rich feature list, does Vivo V11 Pro make for a good purchase? Let's find out!

Sony Xperia XZ3

Sony Xperia XZ3 Review

2018 has been the year of smartphone innovation with almost every brand releasing something unique, especially in display department. However, there's been one brand which didn't show something modern in design, and that is Sony. But now, Sony has caused quite a big stir with launch of Sony Xperia XZ3. Sony dropped its first curved OLED Xperia device, seemingly out of the blue at IFA 2018, reactions have ranged from overwhelming excitement, through confusion but it's about time that a Sony Xperia device features a swish new design in a range of new colors, with camera capabilities much improved and perhaps best of all, Sony's first ever smartphone with an OLED screen. For once, Sony isn't lagging behind when it comes to screen quality and it's about time one of Sony's flagships levels out with competition. Now you must be thinking, is this truly a smartphone to reckon? Is this what Sony needs to dominate smartphone market once again? Well, let's fine out!

Xiaomi Pocophone F1

Xiaomi Pocophone F1 Review

Xiaomi launched its new sub-brand, Pocophone, a few days ago and it has taken everyone by surprise. It's a brand especially introduced to cater to enthusiastic crowd as Xiaomi's Redmi series failed to create major impact in the market. With Poco brand, Xiaomi is targeting at consumers who want flagship level phones at a midrange price point, similar to what OnePlus does with their phones. What people were not expecting by Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is how ready it is to rival top smartphones in market, such as OnePlus 6, Huawei Honor Play and even phones which are priced near thousand-dollar price point, like Samsung Galaxy S9. This is truly the most hyped smartphone in quite a while as it is truly exceeding expectations of people for the price it comes for. So, let's dive deep into the phone and find out for ourselves how exciting and good this phone really is.

Oppo F9 (F9 Pro)

Oppo F9 (F9 Pro) Review

Oppo has been in limelight lately for introducing bold and innovative smartphones, Oppo Find X in particular. It has just been a few months since they introduced Oppo F7, their midrange flagship device for 2018. However, 2018 has been an unforgiving year for smartphone manufacturers, as more and more smartphones keep on popping every other month and for that reason, Oppo has unveiled a new smartphone already. Oppo F9 is an iterative release to previous F-series device, but don't be fooled by that as it doesn't look like it at all. It's got a brand-new display, something you might have not seen anywhere else, an even better selfie camera, and Oppo's new super-fast charging tech. It's an eye grabber, with its unique design and looks as Oppo has focused on style and fashion element of this phone as well this time. Only question remains, is it worth it? Can Oppo F9 conquer midrange smartphone market, considering the competition there is? Well, let's find out.

Samsung Galaxy Note9

Samsung Galaxy Note9 Review

Samsung's latest and greatest Note series is back with a bang for year 2018 with a brand new and the most powerful Note series phone to date, Samsung Galaxy Note9. From the looks of it, it seems like an iterative release by Samsung but don't be fooled by that as this time around, there have been some major changes and huge increments in almost every department. Phone now has beefed up hardware specs, an insane amount of storage, better cameras and an all new, more responsive Bluetooth powered S-pen. It comes at a very high price point but there's so much cramped up within this phablet, that it might just be the first well deserving 1000-dollar smartphone. Only question I have right now is if Samsung Galaxy Note9 really is the all-rounder that is going to be the ultimate flagship smartphone this time around? Let's find out.
